In-Home End-Of-Life Veterinary Care

Alissa Anderson, DMV, CHPV, cVMA has practiced in many different areas of veterinary medicine, but once she made her way to providing in home end-of-life care she quickly realized this was where she could help families and pets every day in the most meaningful way.  In early 2020 she founded Faithful Hearts to provide these much needed services, and she is proud to have been the first veterinarian to offer home hospice care in the Upstate, SC region.  She has completed years of post-doctoral formal training, and in 2023 she became one of approximately 300 veterinarians in the world certified in veterinary hospice & palliative care.  In 2024 she received certification in veterinary acupuncture.  When she is not helping pets with compassionate care, she enjoys spending time with family and their own menagerie of animals, reading, and staying active.
